Senior Night 2014

YONI ECKMAN – accompanied by his Wife:  Michal Elias, Parents: Dr. David and Lisa Eckman, Brother and sister in law Uri and Mary Kate Eckman and brother and future sister in law Josh Eckman and Devorah Pasternack and Jonathan and Aviva Halpert.

Yoni comes from Wynnewood PA. where he starred for SternHigh School (currently Shalhevet) and is currently Physics major planning to pursue a Master’s program in Environmental engineering.

Yoni is a tri-captain and is the 17th player since 1985 to play four years of varsity basketball.  He is among the leading shot blockers in YU history, leading this year’s varsity with 34 blocks and earning himself the valuable 6th man award.

Yoni is an outstanding student, player and most importantly a man of high character and midos.

Eitan Selevan- accompanied by his Parents,  Ushie and Diane Selevan, Brother Ari and sister Alyssa.

Eitan  is a resident of TeaneckNew   Jersey where he starred for the TABC varsity and is currently a psychology major with still undecided plans for next year.

Eitan is a tri-captain and is the 18th player since 1985 to play four years of varsity basketball,  He is our starting point guard and team leader but unfortunately was hampered all year with multiple shoulder injuries which caused him to miss preseason practices and to sit out 7 games during the heart of the season.  He possesses a great basketball IQ and if he so chooses can follow in his father’s footsteps and become an outstanding basketball coach.

Eitan is a young man with quiet resolve, a man of high character and midos.
